PLACES TO VISIT IN CHINA

THE BUND, SHANGHAI



 The Bund was Shanghai's most prosperous area in late 18th century and early 19th century. The Bund, or "Wai Tan" in Chinese, is a historic waterfront area in Shanghai, China, known for its rich architectural heritage and vibrant cultural scene.It was once the center of foreign trade and finance in Shanghai, housing banks, trading houses, and consulates from around the world. Today, the Bund is a popular tourist destination, offering visitors a glimpse into Shanghai's past while also showcasing the city's modern skyline.


  • If I walked along The Bund, I would admire the mix of modern and colonial buildings.
  •  If I went to The Bund in Shanghai, I would take hundreds of photos of the skyline.

THE GREAT WALL




Is the longest wall in the world, an awe-inspiring feat of ancient defensive architecture. Its widding path over rugged country and steep mountains takes in some great scenery.


  • If I climbed The Great Wall, I would enjoy breathtaking views of the rugged country and steep mountains.
  • If I visited The Great Wall, I would be amazed by how long it is.
  • If I climbed The Great Wall, I would feel proud of myself.

SUMMER PALACE




The Summer Palace (Yíhéyuán) is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens, and palaces located in Beijing, China. Originally built in 1750, it served as an imperial garden during the Qing dynasty and is renowned for its stunning landscape design, featuring Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. The palace complex is the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China.


  • If I explored Longevity Hill, I would take beautiful photos of the gardens and palaces.
  • If I visited The Summer Palace in Beijing, I would explore its beautiful gardens.

THE TERRACOTTA ARMY IN XI'AN



The Terracotta Army has laid underground for more than 2000 years. It is significant because the hundreds of detailes life-size models represent the army that triumphed over all other Chinese armies in the Warring States Period.


  • If I went to Xi’an, I would not miss The Terracotta Army.
  • If I saw The Terracotta Army, I would be impressed by the life-size models.
  • If I could walk among the Terracotta Warriors, I would admire their details and craftsmanship.

If I could travel to all these places, I would have the most unforgettable adventure of my life.

  1. I would like to visit the summer palace, because for me, it's the most beautiful place and i like the structure it has and the location.

  2. If I had the possibility to visit China, I would visit all the places that most caught my attention, try their food, and be very interested in learning about their customs with tourists.
